2025 Federal Election information is available on the Australian Electoral Commission website.
The NT Electoral Commission officially declared the results for the Groote Archipelago Regional Council general election at 10am this morning.
Elections were held for 7 councillor vacancies across the three wards (East, Central, and West Wards).
The East and West Wards were uncontested, with no election required as the number of candidates (2) that nominated for the positions of councillor was equal to the number of vacancies (2).
Mildred Mamarika and Constantine Mamarika (East Ward), and Violet Huddlestone and Kieranson Wurramara (West Ward) were declared elected at the declaration of nominations on 20 February.
5 candidates contested the election in the Central Ward, where there were 3 vacancies for the positions of councillor. At the conclusion of counting, the following candidates in the order they were elected were declared duly elected.
