The Northern Territory Electoral Commission and Parliamentary Education Services offer a joint program for teachers who want to organise a visit to Parliament House for their class. By booking this joint program you are eligible for funding to cover the total cost of your bus transport and should result in a free excursion for your students. The funding is provided by the Northern Territory Electoral Commission.
The program incorporates:
- a one hour tour of Parliament House. This includes time to watch parliament live from the gallery (on sitting days) or tour inside the Chamber (on non-sitting days)
- a 45 minute electoral education session tailored to your year group, including a mock election and vote count
- a short break in between.

Separate bookings with us are not required as Parliamentary Education Services will make all arrangements. They will also provide information on utilising bus funding.
