How to sign up to receive reminders?
To sign up to receive reminders to vote add your mobile number and/or email address to your enrolment.
You can update your enrolment on the Australian Electoral Commission website
What will I receive?
You will receive 1 to 3 SMS and/or emails from the NT Electoral Commission during an NT election where you are required to vote.
Once you have voted in the election event you will no longer receive reminder messages.
The NT Electoral Commission reminder service is a prompt, and occasionally due to circumstances outside our control, a reminder may be delayed or not received. A delayed or unsent reminder does not excuse you from voting.
We do not share your contact details with anyone else, unless authorised or required by law, in line with the Information Act 2002
Please note that the NT Electoral Commission will never request personal identification or banking details via email or SMS communication.
