Last day to early vote - 2025 Local Government Elections

All early voting centres are open today until 6:00 pm, voters can cast their vote at any early voting centre without needing to provide a reason to early vote.

So far, over 6,500 postal votes have been sent out and 37,875 early votes have been cast across during the early voting period, including votes cast at early voting centres and remote and urban mobile voting services.   

Northern Territory Electoral Commissioner Kirsten Kelly is encouraging voters to take advantage of the last day of early voting by visiting an early voting centre which will be open to 6.00 pm this evening.

“Voters can find their closest early voting centres and election day voting centres by visiting the NTEC website or by contacting the NTEC Service Centre on 1800 698 683 for assistance,” Commissioner Kelly said.

Election day is the final opportunity to vote with election day voting centres open tomorrow from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Saturday 23 August. There will be 17 voting centres available across the Territory on election day.

A number of election day voting centres locations utilised in previous elections are not being used for this election, voters are encouraged to find their closest election day voting centre visiting the NTEC website
