2025 Local Government Supplementary Elections: Counting has concluded

All counting has concluded for the 2025 Local Government Supplementary Elections.

Voters in the Litchfield Council, North Ward, West Arnhem Regional Council, Gunbalanya and Kakadu Wards were required to vote in the elections.

The election results following the final counts and distribution of preferences where required are available on the NTEC website.

Declaration of results

The Declaration of Results for the 2025 Local Government Supplementary Elections is scheduled for:

• 10:00am on Monday 15 December 2025.

Candidates, media representatives and members of the public are invited to attend the Declaration of Results event.

• In-person (Darwin): NT Electoral Commission Level 3, TCG Centre, 80 Mitchell Street, Darwin
• Online: join the meeting through MS Teams.
