Nominations closed and ballot draw details

Nominations for the 2025 Local Government Elections closed on Thursday 31 July 2025 at 12:00 pm. Late nominations cannot be accepted.

Candidates, media and members of the public are invited to attend the declaration of nominations event to be held on Friday, 1 August 2025 commencing at 12:00 pm.

The declaration of nominations and draw to determine the candidate order on the ballot papers will proceed in alphabetical order by council.  The draw will be conducted using a random number generator.

Following this, the declaration of nominations and draw to determine the candidate order on the ballot paper will be held for the Coomalie Community Government Council elections.
