Scam email alert

The NT Electoral Commission is aware of a scam email claiming that the recipient owed money to the Commission.

The email is not genuine. The NT Electoral Commission does not send infringement notices or payment requests by email.

If you receive such an email, do not click on any links. Please forward it to ntec@nt.gov.au.

If you think you’ve lost money as a result of a scam, report the transaction to your bank or financial institution immediately and to Australian Government's Australian Signals Directorate.
