The 2025 Local Government Elections will be held in August in 16* councils across the Territory.
Territorians will vote to elect council representatives for their local communities.
Local councils are the level of government closest to the community. They make important decisions that impact day to day activities - everything from roads and footpaths to pools, parks, and sporting fields.
