Counting concludes tomorrow - 2020 Territory Election

Counting in the 2020 Territory Election will be completed tomorrow at both the Darwin and Alice Springs Scrutiny Centres.

The deadline for the return of outstanding postal votes to the NTEC is 12 noon tomorrow.

The counting of all remaining votes that have been admitted to the count will start following the expiration of the deadline.

This will be followed by the full distribution of preferences for each division, which should be completed by 10pm.

The updated results will be available on the NTEC website.

The declaration of the 2020 Territory Election result will be held at 10:30am on Monday, 7 September at both the Darwin and Alice Springs Scrutiny Centres.

Attached is a table showing the number of votes still to be counted in each division after last mail today, and the number of postal votes that are outstanding.
