Counting finished for today - 2020 Territory Election

Counting of postal votes returned in the 2020 Territory Election has finished for today.

The updated results for all electorates are available on the NTEC website. The re-check of votes counted on Saturday will start tomorrow, Monday, 24 August 2020 at 9am in Darwin and 9.30am in Alice Springs.

The Two Candidate Preferred counts will also be adjusted in Arnhem, Blain, Fong Lim, Johnston and Katherine following the indicative election night count.

The re-check of the following divisions will be conducted at the centres as detailed below: Darwin Scrutiny Centre: Arnhem, Blain, Brennan, Daly, Fong Lim, Katherine, Johnston and Casuarina.

Alice Springs Scrutiny Centre: Araluen, Barkly, Braitling and Namatjira. There will also be a count of absent votes at approximately 2pm (electors who voted outside their division) with priority given to marginal seats.
