Post election returns for registered political parties, associated entities, third-party campaigners and candidates were released by the Northern Territory Electoral Commission today.
“The 2020 Territory Election returns for gifts, which includes the period 17 August to 21 September 2020, are now available on the NTEC website,” Electoral Commissioner Iain Loganathan said.
“The returns show total gifts received for the aggregation period of 1 July 2019 to 21 September 2020,” he said.
Mr Loganathan said that all disclosure returns are subject to a compliance review that will be conducted by accounting firm BDO Pty Ltd. "Once completed, the report and findings will be available on the NTEC website," Mr Loganathan said.
Registered political parties, candidates, associated entities and third-party campaigners are also reminded that expenditure returns for the period 1 January 2020 to 21 September 2020 are due by 21 October.
