Voting for the City of Darwin Lyons Ward by-election closed at 6pm today.
The preliminary result for the primary vote count has been completed and posted on the NTEC website.
A recheck of the election night count and a further small count (postal votes and declaration votes) will take place during the coming week with results updated on the website.
The deadline for receipt of postal ballot papers is 12pm (noon) Friday 6 March 2020.
