Declaration of results for 2021 Local Government Elections

Following the conclusion of counting yesterday, the Northern Territory Electoral Commission will officially declare the results of the 2021 Local Government Elections on Monday 13 September.

Electoral Commissioner Iain Loganathan will attend three Declaration of the Poll events in the Top End starting at Palmerston City Council at 9am, Litchfield Council at 10:15am and City of Darwin at 12pm.

The Palmerston event will be held in Council Chambers at Civic Plaza 1 Chung Wah Terrace.

Litchfield Council will host their event in Council Chambers at 7 Bees Creek Road, Freds Pass.

The City of Darwin event will be held in the function room at the Civic Centre on Harry Chan Avenue. The Declaration of the Poll for Belyuen Community Government, Coomalie Regional Council, East Arnhem Regional Council, Katherine Town Council, Roper Gulf Regional Council, Tiwi Islands Regional Council, Victoria Daly Regional Council, Wagait Shire, West Arnhem Regional Council and West Daly Regional Council will be held at the NTEC office at 80 Mitchell Street Darwin at 2.30pm.

In Central Australia, the Declaration of the Poll for Alice Springs Town Council, Barkly Regional Council, Central Desert Regional Council and Macdonnell Regional Council will be held in the Alice Springs Town Council’s function room starting at 9am.
