Nominations closing for Daly by-election and ballot draw details

Nominations for the by-election for the Legislative Assembly division of Daly will close at 12 noon tomorrow, Thursday 26 August 2021.

Following the close of nominations a draw will be held to determine the position of candidates on the ballot paper.

The ballot draw will be held on Level 7 of the TCG Centre at 80 Mitchell Street Darwin at 1pm.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the maximum number of occupants in the conference room is limited to 20, therefore the NTEC requests that candidates limit the number of people accompanying them to one.

Media wishing to attend are requested to contact the NTEC Public Awareness Manager by 10am on Thursday 26 August.

Everyone attending the draw must check-in through the QR Code System and physical distancing of 1.5 metres must be maintained at all times.
