The Northern Territory Electoral Commission will officially declare the results for Alice Springs Town Council at 1:15 pm, tomorrow Wednesday 15 September 2021.
The declaration will be conducted at the Alice Springs Town Council, 93 Todd St.
After the distribution of preferences on Friday 10 September, only 17 votes separated the two leading candidates in the election for Alice Springs Mayor.
A recount of the mayoral ballot papers was undertaken on Tuesday 14 September 2021 and the final margin was 2 votes with Matt Paterson elected as mayor.
