The Northern Territory Electoral Commission has officially declared the result for the Alice Springs Town Council by-election.
The last intake of postal votes for the by-election were added to the count at 12 noon on Friday 11 November, as no candidate achieved the quota following the primary count a distribution of preferences was undertaken.
At count four, Gavin Morris achieved quota (3,780) with 4,291 votes, and was therefore declared duly elected.
The declaration of results for this by-election was held at the Andy McNeill room at 6.30pm on Friday 11 November.
