The NT Electoral Commission has today declared candidates for the City of Darwin, Lyons Ward by-election.
At 1pm today, candidate positions on the ballot paper were randomly drawn at the City of Darwin Function Room.
There is 1 vacancy for positon of councillor in the City of Darwin, Lyons Ward by-election and 12 candidates were declared.
Candidates for the City of Darwin, Lyons Ward by-election, in ballot paper order are as follows:
Early voting for the City of Darwin, Lyons Ward by-election will be at the Darwin Entertainment Centre from 9.00am on Saturday 26 August.
Election day is on Saturday 2 September, voting will be available from 8.00am at the Darwin Entertainment Centre and Parap Primary School.
To accommodate electors unable to vote in person, postal vote applications are now open and will close at the following times:
