Katherine Town Council by-election: Election day today

Today is the last day to vote in the Katherine Town Council by-election.

Voting is available from 8am to 6pm at Katherine Central Shopping Centre, Katherine Civic Centre and Tindal Community Hall.

Currently, 31% per cent of electors have cast their vote in the by-election at a voting centre or via a returned postal vote.

The NT Electoral Commissioner, Iain Loganathan is encouraging electors that have not yet voted in the by-election to vote today.

“Today is the last day for electors to make sure their vote counts in Katherine Town Council by-election. I urge all Katherine electors to attend their closest election day voting centre before 6pm today” said Iain Loganathan.

Voting in Katherine Town Council by-election is compulsory.
