MacDonnell Regional Council, Luritja Pintubi Ward by-election: Counting finished for the night

The results from the initial count are as follows:

• Tommy Jabanardi Conway with 202 votes
• Amos Egan with 141 votes

All early and mobile votes have been counted.

A re-check of all votes counted this evening will commence from 10am on Monday 19 June at the NT Electoral Commission office in Darwin.

There remains 17 postal votes to be returned to the NT Electoral Commission over the next 13 days, in addition to 5 declaration votes to be verified and possibly added to the count.

Initial and re-check counts for postal and declaration votes will occur after the deadline for return of postal votes at 10am on Friday 30 June 2023.
