MacDonnell Regional Council, Luritja Pintubi Ward by-election: Voting commenced

Voting has commenced for the MacDonnell Regional Council, Luritja Pintubi Ward by-election.

Voting is available at the Council Offices in Haasts Bluff, Kintore, Mt Liebig and Papunya during the following times:

• Thursday 8 June, 8am - 5pm
• Friday 9 June, 8am - 3pm
• Tuesday 13 June to Thursday 15 June, 8am - 5pm

Voting is also available at the NT Electoral Commission Darwin office from Tuesday 13 to Thursday 15 June at 8am to 4:30pm.

Postal vote applications remain open for electors that are unable to vote at an in-person location. Applications close on the following times:

• International applications close on Monday 12 June at 6pm.
• Local applications close Wednesday 14 June at 6pm.

The NT Electoral Commissioner, Iain Loganathan is reminding electors to make sure their vote counts in the Luritja Pintubi Ward by-election.

“Voting will be available in Luritja Pintubi Ward communities from Thursday 8 June to ensure all Luritja Pintubi Ward electors have a say on who represents their ward within the MacDonnell Regional Council” said Mr Loganathan.

Voting in Luritja Pintubi Ward by-election is compulsory.
