The NT Electoral Commission has today declared candidates for the Roper Gulf Regional Council, Never Never Ward supplementary election.
At 12pm today, candidate positions on the ballot paper were randomly drawn at the NT Electoral Commission office in Darwin.
There is one vacancy for position of councillor in the supplementary election and four candidates were declared.
Candidates for the supplementary election, in ballot paper order are as follows:

To accommodate electors unable to vote in person, postal vote applications are now open and will close at the following times:
Early voting is available at the NT Electoral Commission Darwin office from Monday 2 October to Thursday 5 October.
“With the voting period fast approaching, I would like to remind Never Never electors to plan when and where they will be voting. Electors wanting more information can contact the NT Electoral Commission office for assistance” said Iain Loganathan, NT Electoral Commissioner.
