Counting in the West Arnhem Regional Council, Gunbalanya Ward by-election has finished for the night.
Gabby Gumurdul leads with 303 votes, and Owen Naborlhborlh sits second with 125 votes.
All early, mobile and returned postal votes have been counted.
Based on tonight's counts, 461 of the 914 eligible electors voted in the by-election. This represents 50.4 per cent of the Gunbalanya Ward.
A fresh scrutiny of tonight’s count will commence at 10am on Monday 20 March.
