2024 Territory Election: Financial disclosure post-election gift return

The post-election gift return covering the period 20 August to 23 September 2024 was due on 3 October 2024. This was the final gift return due for the 2024 Territory Election.

To view the published returns, go to the NTEC website. The figures are cumulative including previously reported election gifts.

The electoral expenditure return is due on 23 October 2024.

Registered political parties, candidates, associated entities and third party campaigners must disclose the number of donors and the total gift amount received, covering both monetary contributions and gifts-in-kind.

Gifts to be disclosed are dependent on the type of electoral participant:

  • Parties and associated entities: Must disclose all gifts received.
  • Candidates: Must disclose gifts received solely or substantially for a purpose related to the election.
  • Third party campaigners: Must disclose gifts specified by the donor to be used as political expenditure or gifts that the third party campaigner believes the donor intends as political expenditure.

If you have specific enquiries about a particular disclosure return, you should direct them to the relevant political party, candidate, associated entity, or third-party campaigner. Registers are available on the NTEC website.
