East Arnhem Regional Council by-elections: Voting this week

Remote mobile voting services are available across 2 days in both Ramingining (library) and Galiwin’ku (multi-purpose hall) at the following times:

• 28 February from 8am – 4:30pm
• 29 February from 8am – 4:30pm

Early voting for both by-elections is also available at the NT Electoral Commission Darwin office during the following times:

• 26 February from 8am – 4:30pm
• 27 February from 8am – 4:30pm

Postal vote applications remain open for electors that are unable to vote at an in-person location. Applications close on the following times:

• Local postal vote applications - 6pm Tuesday 27 February.
• Overseas applications have closed

The NT Electoral Commissioner, Iain Loganathan is reminding electors to have their say, and make sure their vote counts in East Arnhem Regional Council’s by-elections.

Voting in the by-elections is compulsory.
