Applying for a postal vote
If you are unable to vote at a voting centre you can apply for a postal vote.
To apply for a postal vote you must complete the below form.

You can apply for an overseas postal vote by:
- printing and submitting a postal application
- contacting the NTEC via telephone (08) 8999 7655 or 1800 698 683
After hours, please email postalvote.ntec@nt.gov.au and a NTEC staff member will contact you in regard to your postal vote inquiry.

Postal vote applications for the 2024 Territory Election are now closed.
You must complete your postal ballot paper and sign the declaration envelope before 6:00 pm on Saturday 24 August.
Post your ballot paper, using the reply paid envelope, to the commission so it is received before 12:00 noon on Friday 6 September 2024.
You can also hand-deliver the envelope to:
- an electoral official at any voting centre during opening hours
- an NT Electoral Commission office in Darwin or Alice Springs.
