2025 Local Government Supplementary Elections: Updated Mobile Voting Services

The Northern Territory Electoral Commission (NTEC) advises that mobile voting services for the West Arnhem Regional Councils Wards (Gunbalanya and Kakadu) previously cancelled due to Tropical Cyclone Fina, have now been rescheduled.

The rescheduled voting services were developed in consultation with the West Arnhem Regional Council to ensure safe and accessible voting service are provided. Information about voting services available is being shared in Gunbalanya and Kakadu Wards.

Due to access restrictions following Tropical Cyclone Fina mobile voting services are not able to be provided in Mamdawerre, Manmoyi and Mudginberri communities. Electors from these communities are being contacted where possible and encouraged to vote at the rescheduled locations listed below.

West Arnhem Regional Council

• Gunbalanya
  Wednesday 26 November, 9:00am – 3:30pm
• Jabiru
  Friday 28 November, 11:00am – 5:00pm
  Saturday 29 November, 8:30am – 1:00pm

Early voting for all councils in the supplementary elections will continue to be available at the NT Electoral Commission office in Darwin until Friday 28 November, tomorrow early voting is also available at Whitewood Hall, 310 Whitewood Road, Howard Springs.
