The Declaration of Results for the 2025 Local Government Supplementary Elections is scheduled for 10:00am on Monday 15 December 2025.
Candidates, media representatives and members of the public are invited to attend the Declaration of Results event.

Following the 2025 Local Government Council elections, six supplementary elections will now be held for five Local Government Council wards.
At the 2025 Local Government Council elections, there were insufficient candidates for the number of vacancies in for the following Council Wards:

Regulation 73 of the Local Government (Electoral) Regulations 2021 requires a new election to be held on failure of an election. An election fails in part if one or more candidates are elected but not as many as required to fill all vacancies that were to be filled at the election.
If an election fails in part, the returning officer must as soon as practicable, fix a date for a new election to fill any resulting deficiencies in the membership of the council.
The electoral roll prepared for the failed election must be used for the new election. Meaning the electoral roll for the 2025 Local Government Council elections will be used for the supplementary elections. The electoral roll closed on 22 July 2025.
