Postal vote applications are now open.

What is the deadline for applying for a postal vote?

The deadline for applying for a postal vote is as follows:

  • Overseas postal vote applications - 5 pm on Tuesday 8 September
  • Local postal vote applications - 5 pm on Thursday 10 September

When will the postal vote be sent to me?

Your postal vote will be sent from Monday 31 August.

When do I complete my postal vote?

You must complete your postal vote ballot paper before 6:00 pm on Saturday 12 September

Post your ballot paper, using the reply paid envelope, to the NT Electoral Commission.

You can also hand-deliver the envelope to:

  • an electoral official at any voting centre during opening hours
  • the NT Electoral Commission office.
