Applying for a postal vote

Applications for postal votes for the City of Darwin Chan Ward By-election are now closed. Please ensure you return your completed postal vote to NTEC by 12pm on Friday 12 June.

Applications for postal votes for the 2026 Regional Council by-elections - June are now open. The following regional council will be participating in the June by-election event:

• Roper Gulf Regional Council - Yugul Mangi Ward

The postal vote mail out will commence on Friday 29 May and will cease on Wednesday 10 June.

To apply for a postal vote, fill out the postal voting form.

Important Reminder

Postal votes for the City of Darwin Chan Ward by election must be completed before 6pm on Saturday 30 May and returned to NTEC by noon on Friday 12 June.

Postal votes for the 2026 Regional Council by-elections - June must be completed before 6pm on Friday 12 June and returned to NTEC by noon on Thursday 25 June.

Ensure you place your completed ballot paper inside the postal vote certificate, signed and dated.
