Applying for a postal vote

Applications for postal votes for the 2026 Regional Council by-elections - July are now open. The postal vote mail out commenced on Monday 20 July and will cease Tuesday 28 July.

To apply for a postal vote, fill out the postal voting form.

Important Reminder

Postal votes for the 2026 Regional Council by-elections – July must be completed before 6pm on Thursday 30 July and returned to NTEC by 12noon on Wednesday 12 August.

Ensure you place your completed ballot paper inside the postal vote certificate, signed and dated.
