Results

There was one councillor vacancy in the West Daly Regional Council Thamarrurr/Pindi Pindi Ward by-election.

Candidate nominations opened on Monday 26 February and closed at 12pm today, 8 March 2024.

No candidates were declared for the by-election, resulting in a failed election.

Following this outcome, the NT Electoral Commission will work together with the West Daly Regional Council to determine a new date for another election. This process will be conducted in accordance with the Local Government (Electoral) Regulation 73(2).
