Results

No candidates were declared for the by-election and consequently no candidates were elected resulting in a failed election. As required under regulation 73 (2) Local Government (Electoral) Regulations the NT Electoral Commission is required to fix a date for a new election to fill the two vacancies. The NT Electoral Commission will work with the Belyuen Community Government Council regarding the new elections.
