Barkly Regional Council General Election: Early voting continues

The first week of early and mobile voting is nearly complete with 658 votes cast, including 29 declaration votes, as well as 165 postal votes issued to electors across the Barkly Regional Council area.

Voter participation as at 4pm today is 14.6%.

Electoral Commissioner Kirsten Kelly said that early voting will be available tomorrow at the Civic Hall in Tennant Creek from 9.00am to 3.00pm, and will continue next week in the lead up to election day on Saturday.

Remote voting will continue next week with voting teams visiting 10 communities including Ali Curung, Alpurrurulam and Elliot.
