2024 Territory Election: Declaration of nominations

Electoral participants including candidates, registered parties, media and the public are invited to attend the declaration of nominations and the draw for ballot paper positions for the 2024 Territory Election.

The declaration of nominations will occur concurrently in Darwin and Alice Springs.

Darwin
Where: CDU Waterfront Theatre
When: 3pm, Thursday 8 August.

Divisions to be declared: 
Arafura, Arnhem, Blain, Brennan, Casuarina, Daly, Drysdale, Fannie Bay, Fong Lim, Goyder, Johnston, Karama, Katherine, Mulka, Nelson, Nightcliff, Port Darwin, Sanderson, Spillett, Wanguri.

Alice Springs
Where: Level 1, Alice Plaza, 36 Todd Mall. 
When: 3pm, Thursday 8 August.

Divisions to be declared:
Araluen, Barkly, Braitling, Gwoja, Namatjira.

The declaration of candidates for each division will be conducted in alphabetical order by division, followed by the draw for candidate order on the ballot paper which be conducted using a random number generator.
