It is compulsory to vote in all elections in the Northern Territory.

Eligible electors must be correctly enrolled to vote before the close of roll. To find out the close of roll date for an election taking place in your area, please visit Current elections, select the relevant election event and navigate to the Timetable.

The Australian Electoral Commission maintains the Northern Territory electoral roll.
