Early voting and remote mobile voting services for the 2025 Local Government Supplementary Elections have commenced.

The Northern Territory Electoral Commission (NTEC) has today declared the candidates for the 2025 Local Government Supplementary Elections and conducted the draw for the ballot paper order.

Nominations for the 2025 Local Government Supplementary Elections are closing on Thursday 6 November 2025 at 12:00 pm. Late nominations cannot be accepted.

Final counts are underway following the deadline to receive postal votes which was 12 noon today, Friday 5 September 2025.

119,976 early votes, election day votes and mobile votes (remote and urban) have been counted. 71,992 eligible voters have voted at early voting, mobile voting (remote and urban) and returned postal votes representing a current turnout of 54 per cent.
