2. If you can't make it to a voting centre, apply for a postal vote.

Get ready for the 2024 Territory Election

In August, Territorians will vote in the 2024 Territory Election.

Follow the steps to ensure you’re ready to vote

  1. Check your enrolment: If you're 18 years or older, it's important to be check you are correctly enrolled at aec.gov.au

  2. Save the date: Election day is Saturday 24 August. Voting services will start from Monday 12 August. To find out when and where to vote go to: ntec.nt.gov.au

  3. Consider postal voting: If you can't make it to a voting centre, apply for a postal vote at ntec.nt.gov.au/apply-postal.

  4. Learn about the voting process: Watch our instructional video available in English and 14 Aboriginal languages at ntec.nt.gov.au/how-to-vote
